Skill Unlock Packages
My situation: I currently own Prophecies, Factions, and EotN. I have been doing some research on the various wiki sites, and have come up with a list of builds I'd like to try. The problem is, almost every one of them has at least one Nightfall skill (if not more).
My Question: Can I buy the Nightfall skill unlock package, and have access to all thier skills from a skill trainer in the campaigns I own? Or do I have to buy the package AND buy tomes to learn those skills. Also, the description was a little unclear regarding elite skills. It doesn't say whether it unlocks them for PvE play at all (while it does say they're available for PvP). Do you get access to them? Do you have to use an elite tome for them? I did a search of this site, and found posts from people that own the campaign, and just want the skills unlocked, but couldn't find any in my exact situation. Thanks in advance! |

I think the skill unlock packages are PvP only... I am not even sure you could use them with a PvE char even if you had a tome...

Blah, I read the core skill unlock package, and thought it would be the same for the other packages. The campaign unlock packages are good for PvP and to have all the skills available to a PvE character of that campaign. Guess that idea doesn't work.

i think buying nf now is cheaper than buying the skill packages anyway. it's a great campaign.

It unlocks skills for heros and skill trainers/tomes. But i think you have to own campaign you want to unlock.

Just go ahead and buy the game. It's really good and a nice refresh. Also you get more heroes.

okie, heres how it is:
if u buy the nitefall skills unlock pack all of teh nitefall skills will be unlocked to use for pvp or learn it from a tome or for ur pve heroes or u can buy any skill from any nitefall skill trainer read "nitefall skill trainer" u need to have the nitefall campaign to use teh nitefall unlock pack so ur best option is to jus buy nitefall and not waste money on teh unlock pack |

1) PvE heroes from GWEN can still use these skills, even if you do not own Nightfall, but you CANNOT force them to use those skills 2) You only need to own the Nightfall campaign if YOU want to use the skills |
